Hotel
Hilton Gets Better Look Hotel Hilton on the top of Budapest's
Castle Hill will greet the summer in a dazzling white outfit:
the hotel's façade and main entrance have been completely
renovated. Miklós Tower, on the northern side of
the building, has also improved in appearance.
The
speciality of this tower is that it was originally built in 1477
and the bottom part is still made up of the original stones. By the
end of the ongoing two-year renovation project, Hotel Hilton will
be completely revamped. The presidential suite was the first part
of the hotel that has been refurbished, in art deco style, which
has recently become very fashionable. All the paintings, vases and
statuettes in this suite evoke the atmosphere of the 1920s. The other
suites in Hotel Hilton, rooms located in the southern wing looking
over the river Danube, and rooms on the Executive floor have also
been refurbished, and they now include comfortable, aesthetically
pleasing and elegant furniture. Adjustable air-conditioning, two
telephone sets, PC connectors, an ISDN line, a telephone set in the
bathroom, a safe in the room, a minibar and the security lock system
enhance the high level of comfort guest can enjoy in these rooms.
Rooms on the Executive floor are equipped with tea and coffee makers,
and mineral water and the morning newspapers are automatically supplied
here. New work desks have been built in the business center for those
who travel with their own laptop computers.
