Hotel Hévíz, the pride of the Danubius hotel
chain, is sited in a park right beside the famous thermal
lake of Hévíz, around which has sprung up one

refurbished three years ago. All guest rooms have been laid out

entrance has been decorated with ornamental paveming, perfectly
in keeping with the atmosphere of Hévíz. The hotel's
therapeutic department, which has a formidable reputation, was
also renovated three years ago. The department acquired the most
modern equipment, and new pools and a fitness area were also
built. The highly qualified staff apply the most up-to-date methods
for therapeutic treatments and health assessment. Patients can
receive balneo-therapy and hydrotherapy, mud packs, drinking
cures and inhalation cures. In addition, a famous also dental
clinic operates on the premises. While Hévíz is
a Mecca for those seeking cures for various complaints, the Thermal
Hotel places great emphasis on health maintenance, as well. In
addition to a fitness room, indoor and outdoor swimming pools,
a Turkish bath and a Jacuzzi are available for those seeking
active relaxation. The area is superb for walking and cycling,
there are table tennis facilities in the hotel and facilities
for tennis and horse riding nearby. There are also special events
rooms that can be prepared for a variety of meetings. All of
this adds up to pleasant and profitable relaxation in Hévíz,
which can be as equally eventful in autumn and winter as in the
summer sunshine.
