Danubius Park Hotel Flamenco stands in a pleasant green area
of Budapest, near the city centre, and it has been revamped for
our new Millennium. Hotel director János Gyurasza said that
renovation of all 60 rooms on the fourth floor was completed last
year:no less than 240 rooms on the floors between 4 and 7 have
been refurbished.
Not long after the debut of the Danubius Premier Club in the Hotel Hélia,
the opening of a second Danubius Premier Club in the Flamenco last December marked
the greatest development in the four-star hotel's recent history. In less than
a month, the gym was equipped with state-of-the-art fitness facilities. There
are plans to open a second room next to the swimming pool in the near future,
restricted to women only. A sports coach and a doctor are at the service of all
guests in the club, providing help in preparing personal training plans and to
develop a healthy diet.
In
addition to wellness-fitness, the hotel, which has 358 rooms and 8 suites,
places great emphasis on organising events. Conference tourism has always
been important in the life of the Flamenco, which had 11 well-equipped
air-conditioned meeting rooms, the largest having a capacity for 350
people. With the reconstruction started in January this year, Restaurant
Bolero has been converted into a conference room with a capacity of 500,
and by utilising the terrace another large space is available, one that
can be divided into three parts. Depending on demand, these can be used
as restaurants, or as ideal locations for smaller events.
No changes have been made to the existing four private rooms, but the bar has
been moved to the opposite end of the hall. The separation of individual guests
from groups will significantly improve the level of services, as a result of
which individuals will be able to use the left side of the hall, while groups
can use the entire area on the right side of the entrance.
