The Brand New Olive Restaurant

The restaurant in Radisson SAS Béke Hotel has had a thorough make over—and that includes its cuisine. For its rebirth, the restaurant has given itself a new name too: The Olive. The name says everything about its atmosphere and about the dishes served. As the most important basic ingredient in Mediterranean cuisine, olive oil is the key to healthy and delicious cooking. Life expectancy is higher in the Mediterranean than in most other countries. The consumption of olive oil reduces the risk of heart disease, cholesterol levels, blood pressure, blood sugar levels, and it helps the metabolism and the absorption of vitamins. Above all else, it tastes very good!
The Hotel Béke Radisson Sas has always had a name for its kitchen. All the same, the hotel decided it was time to make a change, in order to keep up with changing demands. The modernisation of the restaurant has been inspired by a quest for light, healthy and delicious Mediterranean flavours. The emphasis on the new menu has been placed on fresh vegetables, poultry (especially duck, another international trend now), cheese specialities and new methods for preparing food.
The culinary delights are enhanced by a pleasant environment, live Latin music and, above all, the open kitchen which enables guests to watch, while sipping fine wines, how expert hands prepare their food, using a wide selection of ingredients and Mediterranean herbs.
Chef László Héjja and his team, the surprisingly moderate prices and the atmospheric decoration ensure that once visited, this is a restaurant that you will want to return to.
