A healthy life needs a healthy diet. Opinions vary on what this
involves: some say that you should eat anything that feels good
as long as you do not go to excess. Others swear by a strict diet
and a table of calories. Here we recommend a diet that does not
conflict with either of the above opinions. We requested the chef
of Danubius Park Hotel Flamenco to put together a light and healthy
summer menu that can be offered to those dedicated to a healthy
lifestyle. This is what Tamás Lusztig offers:
For breakfast - fruit infusions, juices, muesli and mixed salads are recommended
from the buffet, but cold poultry cuts and smoked salmon are also on offer. Spread
low-fat margarine on the bread and sample some of the cheeses.
For a light summer lunch - one of Tamás Lusztig's recommendations is a
blue cheese cream soup with Ardennes ham, followed by grilled fillet of sole.
This should be served with caramel and lemon butter, fried celery and new potatoes.
A chocolate mousse and a pleasant, cool and refreshing orange carpaccio are recommended
for dessert.
For dinner, his offer is equally rich yet carefully light. Grilled ewe-cheese
with a mixed salad, followed by turkey breast stuffed with mozzarella and fried.
The Flamenco's chef recommends grilled fresh pineapple as a side-dish for the
turkey. And to end the day, have some fresh strawberry or a cup of fruit salad.
Bon appetit!
